Rally for America
The purpose of this event will be to stimulate people to show up to vote in the general election on 11/5 and beyond. Voter registration will be available at the rally, as will be reasons WHY participation in this election is so vital. The emphasis will be on the policies affecting “people’s pocket books” and why these must be changed.
The Rally for America will take place at the parking lot on the west side of the Roca Bar restaurant (on 4600 Washington Avenue just west of Green River Road — north side of Washington Ave. between Roca Bar 4600 Washington Ave and Old National Bank 4500 Washington ave.) on Saturday, July 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Contact the organizer, Mark Georges, for info and what HE needs from YOU. He’s looking for help; volunteers to assist with the event and supply tables, folding chairs, clip boards, bottles of water, signs, flags, etc. You may also contact Margie Tomes for sign-ups to help with the event.
